HRH Reza Pahlavi’s Historical Visit to Israel

Today, the Institute for Voices of Liberty released a statement supporting HRH Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi’s historic trip to Israel to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day and pay respect to the victims on Yom HaShoah. In what can be considered a paradigm shifting event, HRH Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi’s trip to Israel, coinciding with Holocaust Memorial Day, has given hope for a bright and prosperous future to the freedom-seeking people of Iran.  This action, in accordance with the proposed Cyrus Accords, reflects the long-held friendship and amity between the Iranian and Jewish community worldwide and serves to underline the distinction between the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic in Iran.

Since its inception, iVOL’s mission has been to reflect and amplify the voices of freedom seeking Iranians inside Iran and one of the first initiatives that we at iVOL undertook, based on the recommendation of the Iranian people, was a public diplomacy trip to Israel,  spearheaded by Dr. Amir Hamidi and Adam Lovinger, one of iVOL’s leading advisors. The purpose of this mission was to strengthen the bonds of friendship between Israel and Iran, as well as construct a framework for the Cyrus Accords between the Israeli nation and the government of a Free Iran. As HRH Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has emphasized in his statement:

“I want the people of Israel to know that the Islamic Republic does not represent the Iranian people. The ancient bond between our people can be rekindled for the benefit of both nations. I’m going to Israel to play my role in building toward that brighter future.”

All of us at iVOL are of the same mind, in that we hold our ancient bond of friendship as unbreakable and our efforts to build a bright and prosperous future can only grow within our shared goals within the framework of the Cyrus Accords.
