It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our great friend and first member of the Advisory Council, Hon. Robert (Bud) Mcfarlane, President Reagan\u2019s Former National Security Advisor. We remember Bud for his service, and his staunch support of IVOL. Our respect and sympathy go out to Robert and his family. He was a great man and he will be missed. Robert Carl\u00a0\u201cBud\u201d\u00a0McFarlane\u00a0(July 12, 1937 \u2013 May 12, 2022) was an\u00a0American<\/a>\u00a0Marine Corps<\/a>\u00a0officer who served as\u00a0National Security Advisor<\/a>\u00a0to President\u00a0Ronald Reagan<\/a>\u00a0from 1983 to 1985.
